D’Angelo Italian Market of Freehold: Authentic Italian Flavors in Freehold Township

I'm going to be going here for my friendsgivings every year from here on out!!!! This was my first time using catering for a big event and the staff were so insanely helpful, and the food was INCREDIBLE!!!! Hosted for 23 people and they were rushing for seconds and thirds as well as to go containers for the next day lol. I cannot recommend D'Angelos enough! Seriously a hidden gem here in Freehold

D'Angelo's is great for everything! Best Italian Market in the area for sure. The one hero I have to recommend is Mikey's Melt! Fried Chicken cutlet, American cheese, bacon, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, mayo - ask them to add pickle chips, you'll thank me! My wife and I just devoured one for lunch with some Greek Pasta Salad on the side. BTW, don’t forget to grab a prosciutto bread as well or biscotti from Brooklyn’s best bakeries. Add on: Next day my wife ran out and got 2 more heroes - eggplant mozzarrella balsamic and chicken cutlet mozzarella and peppers, amazing .

I attended an affair today and it was catered by DAngelo’s Italian Market of Freehold. My compliments to your chef. Everything was perfect, especially the fact that with all the wonderful variety of salads, there were No Raw Onions at all… Thank you

Our Stonebridge Italian-American Club on Monroe used D’Angelo’s freehold for the first time. Rave reviews; fabulous antipasto on a stick, best sandwiches with soft bread, unique and delicious salads and fabulous nice size pastries! I ordered a turkey & muenster sub. It was absolutely delicious! The bread really made the sandwich. It was a much better value in comparison to some of the chain sub shops in the area. It hasn’t been 24 hours and I am already craving another one.

I went in yesterday to pick up a NYE order my friend had placed for a party through DoorDash - I was surprised to find they were already closed, but the owner happened to be outside and without hesitation opened the doors to help look for her order. When it still wasn’t there, he immediately let me know he had an extra half tray of what we ordered (almost double the amount of her order), and he insisted I take it, free of charge. He even made sure to include an extra container of sauce. I’m sure he wanted to get out of there on the holiday, but you never would’ve known it. His genuine intent was to help me out so I wouldn’t show up to the party empty handed. It was an act of true class and kindness and let me tell you, that chicken was the best I’ve ever tasted!!

I reached out to D’Angelo’s in Freehold at the absolute last minute for a Super Bowl Spread, and they truly delivered. I spoke with Janet and she was amazing. The food was delicious and a huge hit with everyone at the party! While the salads were a bit heavy on the mayo, the owner was incredibly accommodating and proactive, even giving me a gift card to make it right. It’s rare to find a business that cares this much about their customers. I’ll definitely be back! My friend recommended me to call them and I’m so glad I did.
